Bangladesh equalized series after defeating Zimbabwe by 7 wickets

Bangladesh beat Zimbabwe by 7 wickets in the second match of the three match T20 series. Liton Das scored maximum 56 runs for the team. The Tigers leveled the series as a result of this win.

The two openers Liton Das and Munim Shahriar got off to a great start by going down to bat for a target of 136 runs. Munim Shahriar left the team with 37 runs. He scored 7 runs off 8 balls before Engraver was bowled by the slower one. After Munim’s departure, Anamul Haque Vijay joined opener Liton Das. Opener Liton scored fifty off 30 balls. But he can increase his innings. Lytton was caught lbw by William after scoring 56 runs.

Meanwhile, Anamul Haque Bijay is not finding rhythm in international cricket. After scoring 26 runs off 27 balls in the first T20I, he scored 16 runs off 15 balls in the second T20I. Vijay was caught by Masakadja while blasting Raja to long on. In the end, Bangladesh reached the port of victory in 17.3 overs. Afif Hossain remained unbeaten on 30 runs and Nazmul Hossain on 19 runs.

Bangladesh got off to a dream start with Mosaddek Hossain’s brilliant bowling in Zimbabwe’s innings. Mossadek returned 5 Zimbabwean batsmen one by one. He sent back Regis Chakava and Wesley Madhevere in the first over. Bowling his second over, he guided Shaun Williams to the pavilion. And Mosaddek got 5 wickets for the first time in his career by returning Milton Shumba in the last over of his quota. After 5 wickets for 31 runs, Raja-Barl took the lead of the team. In their 80-run partnership of Raja-Barl, Zimbabwe basically turned around. In the end, the hosts could collect 135 runs after losing 8 wickets.
