Bangladesh fined after the second T20 match against Windies

Bangladesh match fee has been reduced by 20 percent due to slow over-rate in the second T20 against the host West Indies in Dominica.

ICC Elite Panel match referee Richie Richardson has punished the Bangladesh team for the slow over-run rate. According to Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct, the Bangladesh team has been given a minimum punishment. After the match, this is mentioned by ICC towards Bangladesh.

The slow over-run rate is the responsible due to captain. A captain needs to remember it during the match. To give 20% match fee is a punishment for the captain and team according to the law of ICC (International Cricket Council).

The first match was abandoned due to rain. Bangladesh lost the second T20 at Dominica by 35 runs. Mahmudullah will play the third and final T20 of the series tomorrow. Tomorrow in the 3rd T20, the mission of team Mahmudullah is to win. There is no way without win tomorrow. Without win in the 3rd match, Bangladesh will loose the series by 2-0. If win, then the series will be draw by 1-1 run.
