Did not come to learn, come to win: Sohan

Bangladesh team is youth dependent. A relatively weak opponent is Zimbabwe. But when the format is T20, it would be wrong to show too much enthusiasm. On top of that, the captain is new. There is no senior like Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad, Mushfiqur Rahim in the team.

Meanwhile, the record in this version is not good. Against this backdrop, Bangladesh will face hosts Zimbabwe today in the first T20I of the three-match series at Harare Sports Club ground.

The match will start at 5 pm Bangladesh time. How to play with a group of young people? Can you win the series? Or young people have gone there to learn, to increase their experience!

In response, the new captain of the T20 format said that Bangladesh visited Zimbabwe not to learn but to win the series.

In a press conference on the eve of the match, Nurul Hasan Sohan said in a strong voice, “We know (with such a team) that we are going to face a challenge. But we are ready to face that challenge. Maybe it’s the young team. But we did not come to learn, we came to win.”

Sohan refuses to accept his team as inexperienced. He said, “You can’t say that we are an inexperienced team. Because many players have been playing for 6-7 years. So I think the experience is ok. Conditions may be slightly different. But that can’t be an excuse. We want to play our brand of cricket. There are many teams that excel in power hitting. But if we can play intelligent cricket then there will always be a chance.”
