Bangladesh lost by 17 runs against Zimbabwe in the 1st T20 match at Harare. Zimbabwe gave 206 runs target to Bangladesh that was huge. But unfortunately Bangladesh able to take the innings to only 188 runs.
At 10 overs, Zimbabwe scored 74/2. In the 13th over while ZImbabwe was 107/3, Sikandar Reza came to bat. Then due to the powerful batting of Sikandar Reza, Zimbabwe scored 98 Runs in next 7 overs. From 13th over Sikandar Reza-Wesley Madhevere made a great partnership.
Sikandar Reza bring up his half century in just 23 Balls. Next Reza scored 65 runs in 26 balls that helps Zimbabwe to make a huge total on the scoreboard which bring a big victory against Tiger. After finishing the match, Sikandar Reza become the Man Of The Match for his excellent performance for the team that contribute for the victory.
At the time of receiving Man Of The Match award, Sikandar Reza said, “We thought 170-180 would be okay. Had a good start. I wanted to carry on and take it from there. Didn’t think it was a 206 wicket. There were couple of instances where the ball stayed low. A bit two paced. After those scary moments with a couple of surgeries, nothing bothers me now.”
