Nurul Hasan Sohan lost the toss on his captaincy debut against Zimbabwe. Coming down to bat, Zimbabwe gave Bangladesh a challenging target of 206 runs. Sohan played some good shots while batting. But it was not enough to reach the challenging target. In the end, Sohan’s team lost by 17 runs in his captaincy debut.
Captain Nurul Hasan Sohan took the lead in this disaster of the team. He played some good shots. Sohan remained unbeaten on 42 runs. In the end, Bangladesh ended the visitors’ innings at 188 for 6 wickets.
At the end of the match, Nurul Hasan Sohan said, “Few overs we have to improve in the next matches. 10-15 runs less would be a positive game for us. Thought we could chase it down. A very good pitch. Hope to come back strongly.”
Zimbabwe gave 206 runs target which was huge for the tigers. According to Soha, if the target was 10-15 runs less that means 190, then it could be positive game for Bangladesh. Sohan also praised about the pitch of Harare. He also give hope to come back strongly in the 2nd T20.
Tommorow (31 July,2022) The second T20 match of the series will held. If the host win, then the series will be confirmed by 2-0. If Tiger win, then the series will be draw and the series winner confirmation can be seen after 3rd T20 match.
