Bangladesh team’s opener Liton Das ended Zimbabwe series due to injury. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed the matter.

He left the field with a hamstring injury while batting in the first ODI match of the series against Zimbabwe. At that time he was playing with 81 runs from 89 balls. He could not enter the field later. Litton may have to be out of the field for three to four weeks with that injury. He is also uncertain about the Asia Cup held in the United Arab Emirates on August 27.

The fizzing Sunny of the Bangladesh team said that Liton was scanned during the match. The report diagnosed a grade-2 muscle strain. It takes three to four weeks to recover from this type of injury. Liton will not be able to play in the Zimbabwe series.

Besides, Mushfiq got pain in his finger. Pacer Shariful Islam was also suffering from hamstring pain. Physio said their injury is not serious, Mushfiq Bhai has pain in his finger. But not serious. Hopefully, he will be able to play in the next match. Shariful was left slightly paralyzed due to his immediate injuries. I hope to get a good report tomorrow.
