Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman’s statement about Bangladesh

Bangladesh lost their first two matches against Pakistan and Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup Super Four.

Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Zaka Ashraf, who organized the 16th edition of the Asia Cup, wished the Bangladesh team farewell before the final.

India and Pakistan, the two arch-rivals of Asia, are set to face each other in a high-voltage match in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Sunday.

Just before this match, the PCB chairman said, ‘I have come to know that their Asia Cup is over. But I wish them all the best.’ Ashraf then added in Bengali, ‘Bangladesh is good.’

Regarding Pakistan’s cricketing relationship with Bangladesh, Zaka Ashraf said, ‘The cricketing relationship between Bangladesh and Pakistan is very good. I am working to strengthen that relationship even further.’
