Sohan out from Zimbabwe series due to injury

Bangladesh T20 captain Nurul Hasan Sohan has been sidelined for three weeks with a finger injury. He injured his finger in the second match of the ongoing series against Zimbabwe. For this reason, he was dropped from the entire ODI series along with the remaining one match of the T20 series.

Sohan got injured during the second T20 against Zimbabwe. Hasan Mahmud says he got a pain in his finger while keeping. Later, an X-ray revealed a crack in his index finger.

Physio Mojadded Alfe Sani, who is with the Bangladesh team, said, “We have X-rayed Sohan’s finger and found a tear. It takes three weeks to recover from this type of injury. Because of this, he is not able to play in the last T20 and the upcoming ODI series.”

Sohan was playing a vital role for the team in finishing with bat. Besides batting, he also properly utilize his captaincy in debut captain series. In first T20, Bangladesh lose but he played an excellent innings to make fighting. In the second T20, due to his disciplinable captaincy Bangladesh able to stop Zimbabwe in just few runs.

According to analyse, Liton may be seen as a captain in 3rd T20 match vs Zimbabwe. Sohan is in rest for 3 weeks. Hope, he would return the team with full skill & form in the upcoming Asia Cup at UAE.
