Domingo happy that match was abandoned

The first match of the three-match T20 series against the West Indies has been abandoned due to rain. However, after losing the toss, Bangladesh got the opportunity to bat first. In the innings of 13 overs, however, the bat of the Tiger batsmen did not smile much.

Apart from Shakib Al Hasan and Nurul Hasan Sohan, none of the other batsmen were able to score conveniently. However, in the match, Bangladesh had to be satisfied only by batting.

Meanwhile, Tigers head coach Russell Domingo sees the cancellation of the match as a blessing. According to him, even though they did not get a chance to practice, the batsmen were able to indulge themselves by batting in this match.

Promising to improve in the second match, Domingo said, “It would have been nice to have been able to bowl earlier today. But we lose the toss, it’s part of the game. I am sure we will improve further in the second match. Because a few players were out of the game for several weeks. They were pale today. “

Domingo again said, “I would say a good start. But then there have been bad batting, much worse. I’m sure the boys will be back in the next match. We made a long journey on the ferry and here but we couldn’t even practice yesterday. It has cut our rhythm. So we are very lucky that the match has been abandoned. But we got a chance to bat.”

The head coach wants to find positivity from here even if the team gets a chance to bat in a short time. Domingo commented, “This match was also positive. But Shakib was out at the wrong time. We then needed someone to play with responsibility and a good pairing. But the wicket fell as soon as we got the pair. So I think Powerful and Big Hitting in this version can give us something new. But you also have to learn from being out at the wrong time. It’s good to see Shakib back in form. “
