Shakib Al Hasan has written to the Cricket Board that he has severed all ties with Betwinner News.
After Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan’s stern speech, Shakib signed the contract quickly.
Shakib has also confirmed that he will remove his Facebook post and sever all ties with this organization.
Jalal Yunus, head of BCB’s cricket management department, told the media on Thursday evening that the board president had asked for a written reply, and Shakib had said in writing that he had canceled the contract. It also said that it will remove the posts from Facebook and will no longer be associated with them.
BCB director Jalal Yunus also said that in our meeting, Shakib has violated the terms of the contract with the cricket board. Didn’t tell us about the sponsorship deal. As per BCB policy, all cricketers under contract with the board are required to inform the board of any sponsorship deal. Any sponsorship and expressions of interest by BCB will clearly state that tobacco, alcohol and any betting companies cannot participate in the process. The same applies to personal sponsorships, endorsements or product endorsements by cricketers.
