Saifuddin-Rabbi to miss Zimbabwe series

Mohammad Saifuddin was in the team for the white ball series of West Indies tour. But he could not pass the fitness test within the stipulated time. The cricketer was also suffering from back pain when the team caught the flight to West Indies.

The cricketers returned home after losing the T20 series and winning the ODI series from West Indies. But pace bowling all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin is still not fit to play. The 25-year-old cricketer is going to Delhi on Sunday to get an injection to cure his back pain.

Because of that pain, he is not going to tour Zimbabwe like the West Indies. He has been asked by the BCB cricket management department to prepare for the Asia Cup.

Middle-order batsman Yasir Ali Rabbi also suffered the same fate as Saifuddin. Batter rabbis in rehab are also not getting clearance from the medical department. He was injured in a warm-up match on the tour of the West Indies. At first he was kept with the party but later he was sent to the country.

Newcomers can join the T20 team in the Zimbabwe series with the team from the West Indies tour. The Tigers will fly to Zimbabwe on July 26. The three-match T20 series will begin on July 30 and end on August 2. After that, a three-match ODI series will be played on August 5, 7 and 10.
