Tamim thought they will lose today

Bangladesh could not avoid defeat despite scoring 303 runs in the first game of the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe. In the second match of the series, the Tigers lost despite scoring 290 runs.

After losing two consecutive matches, Bangladesh could not make a challenging score in the match to avoid a whitewash on Wednesday. Afif Hossain-Anamul scored 256 runs with a pair of fifties.

After making a moderate score of 256 runs, Bangladesh team captain Tamim Iqbal thought that they might lose today like the previous two matches. However, the Tigers finally won by 105 runs thanks to the bowlers. Zimbabwe was all out for 151 runs in 32.2 overs.

After this consolation win in the last match of the ODI series, captain Tamim said, “I thought I would lose in 35 overs after scoring 250 runs today as I lost despite scoring 303 and 290 runs.

After the team’s victory, Tamim said, I thought, I will only attack and attack. Then we will see what happens. Fortunately, we got 5 wickets quickly, then the rest was done.

Pacer Ebadat Hossain spread light with the ball in the debut match. Ebadat dismissed Zimbabwe’s two-star batsmen Wesley Madhevere and Sikandar Raja, who scored back-to-back centuries in the previous two matches, in two consecutive balls in his second over.

Tamim said we appreciate Ebadat’s performance and have kept him with the team for a long time. I was a little surprised that he did not get a place in the main team in this series. It was a great opportunity for him; luckily, he lived up to the expectations.
